2008! We went to Seattle for a couple days with a couple friends for the new year. Excited to see an amazing fireworks show we were really let down! The fireworks from the space needle failed and didn't even work right. Huge disappointment! Oh well, maybe next year. We still had a ton of fun, we ice skated and shopped around a ton, plus ate at some awesome restaurants.
